Feedback virtual workshops 2021
1-1 Back to Basics via zoom
I would feel confident to go and use my sewing machine, and even have ideas of what to do if an issue occurred. I would be able to use all the dials, thread the machine and use it to sew. Rebecca provided wonderful solutions to hypothetical (and probably soon to be real) issues that may occur, why and how to try fix them.
It was the perfect amount of time for what we covered. However, I did have slight familiarity with my machine so a brand new sewer may need some extra time. The 1-1 helped make sense of all the bits and their uses rather than me experimentally sewing… The 1-1 definitely benefited me – for someone with a little knowledge beforehand this made me super comfortable and confident with my machine……overall excellent teaching and friendly guidance. I would 100% look to book more sewing courses! A Lacurto 3 May 2021

‘Thank you for a most enjoyable needle felting workshop the other day. I have now purchased a few materials to try it myself at home!’ B Lang, Godalming, Oct 2018
‘Had the most amazing day with Rebekah. I am a complete novice (my last and only attempt at using a sewing machine was 40 years ago at school – a disaster!) I brought along my brand new untried sewing machine and hoped that I might pick up a few skills. When I saw Rebekah’s version of the bag we were expected to make I thought ‘oh dear!’. I decided that I would buy that bag at the end of the session and be pleased with any skills I had picked up. However, a wonderful day and I still can’t believe I am actually saying this but I am now the proud owner of a very beautiful bag made by me!!! – see above bottom and middle right. I am in shock! Rebekah is a wonderful teacher, calm and patient and her house is gorgeous. Now keen to book some more courses. If I can do this really, truly, anyone can. Book now – you won’t regret it. I promise you will be bitten by the sewing bug!!! Huge thank you and I’ll be back x’ NS Horsham, West Sussex 9 July 2017 ‘Bags of Fun! workshop
